But all that is of no use if there is not behind such an effort a kind of truly sensuous temptation, an appeal to certain unfamiliar ideas whose fate is precisely that they cannot be limited and not even formally outlined.

These ideas, which touch on Creation, Becoming and Chaos, and are all of a cosmic order, provide an elementary notion of a domain that theatre has completely written off. They can create a kind of obsessive equation between man, society, nature and things.
