JOHANN SEBASTIAN BACH HEALING MASKS
These are an assembly of 11 masks created solely from listening to the music by Johann Sebastian Bach, in which he uses the St. Matthew‘s text collection as the basis for his composition, and today are known as The Matthew Passion.
The energy that is embedded in the composition and the spiritual forces that, beyond awareness, inspired Bach's work forward is an incomprehensible journey/experience in itself.
Both elements, energy and spiritual forces, were received from the music, converted into 11 drawings that later became 11 hand-carved and gold-painted masks.
It turned out to be an unexpected and very strong healing material, a treatment for many aspects of our life.
Before you read any further, please take into consideration that our knowledge about Matthew is limited, and ease us adapt the masks to the Gospel of Matthew.
It is solo Bach’s music and its energy we use and know about.
We hold the material in high favor, because of the powerful spiritual event that inspired the design and production of the masks.
In artistic terms, it is an AESTHETIC ARREST, inspired by a powerful TAKSU (Charisma) experience, which, without the artist Per Brahe's awareness, contains this quality.
It happened in UBUD, Bali, in 2015.
So even though the source is Matthew, it is Per Brahe's deep love for Johann Sebastian Bach's music that unites the power of these two artists and transforms it into the collection of 11 compelling healing masks.
The users of the masks reveal that it starts with a feeling that someone is holding you by the hand and guides you, full of love, into your own universe. Here you encounter liberation, forgiveness for yourself, and the quality-release of regrets.
Bach's placed himself in the middle of the entire composition, and that’s where the user of the mask will meet Bach.
The central mask number 6 gives the entire mask-material earthy meaning and value, because it is this quality that gives access to the higher spiritual aspects in all the masks.

In some sessions, we start with the number 6 mask and spiral from the center out to the last mask, number 11.
After this experience, there is preparation and realization. The last two masks are in front of a gate that slowly opens, and a very beautiful and green valley comes into view, which is meant to be comforting and soothing and erase all sensations of fear from the human being that use the masks, after which the gate slowly closes, and the user sees the inside of the last mask, number 11. And the healing is accomplished.
The music is kept silent during the healing session, but we have it. And it is the version that we used as the basis for the creation of the masks.
The German text behind the 11 masks was used to begin with, so we could navigate through the beautiful Bach Partiture.
